Act I, Scene IV

Setting: Monday morning, a street in Verona

Characters in Scene: Mercutio, Benvolio, Romeo, Peter, Nurse

Tybalt sends a letter to Romeo, challenging him into a fight. Knowing Tybalt is a excellent skilled swordsman, Mercutio and Benvolio worries about Romeo. Later then the Nurse meets Romeo, Mercutio and Benvolio, and asked to talk to Romeo alone, whereas Mercutio teases him as she might invite Romeo out on a dinner. As Mercutio and Benvolio exits the scene, Romeo talks to Nurse and tells her to tell Juliet to find an excuse to come at Friar Lawrence’s cell, the place on where they’ll be married.
