Act II, Scene 3

Location: Monday morning at Friar Lawrence’s cell

Characters in Scene: Friar Lawrence, Romeo

Friar Lawrence is picking flowers and herbs monday morning. Then Romeo approaches him. Friar Lawrence talks about plants, that if misused will become poison. Later then Romeo asks him a favor—to help him marry Juliet. Friar Lawrence then agrees because he wanted to end the two opposing families’ rivalry.
