Setting: at Friar Lawrence’s cell

Characters in Scene: Romeo, Nurse, Friar Lawrence

Romeo is banished in Verona. Friar Lawrence tries to console him by saying that he should be thankful because he was only sentenced banishment by the prince and not death. Romeo tried to kill himself when the nurse arrived and told him to go to Juliet before going to Verona.
